    We know that healthy foods CAN taste good. Our culinary team works hard to create meals, drinks, and yes, even desserts that taste so good, you’ll forget they’re good for you! All our meals are gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free. We use raw honey, maple syrup or dates as sweeteners. We follow the EWG’s Dirty Dozen organic produce guidelines, but want to provide as many organic ingredients as possible. All our spices, grains, gluten-free flours, and nuts are organic. All our meats are all-natural, organic, grass-fed or antibiotic and hormone free. We have partnered with Augustus Ranch in Yoakum to provide us with grass fed ground beef and pork. We buy seasonal produce from local farms, Nelson Farms and Spirit Pioneering Farms.


    It was Erica’s passion for cooking and food that led her on her journey to discovering how to truly eat healthy. After years of what she thought was eating healthy and bouts of stomach issues, Erica found the Institute of Integrated Nutrition. She was quickly immersed in the world of healthy cuisine and living. She has gone on to help her clients prepare healthy meals that are organic, gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free. She has helped them see that eating healthy CAN taste good! Erica is now bringing that passion and those recipes to her storefront, ParaVida Wellness. Erica and her team are on a mission to make truly healthy food and lifestyles enjoyable and accessible to everyone!

Memberships: – Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics – American Nutrition Association – Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Meagan will match clients with specialized wellness programs. Personal meal plans are optional. Meagan is passionate about educating others on healthy habits. I am ready to help clients plan, implement, and achieve their dietary goals.

I have battled multiple auto-immune diseases in the last 10 years which have led me through trial and error to where I am today. Through my journey I have learned that clean eating, exercise, and a positive mental attitude can change your life for the better. By educating myself on what I put in and on my body, I have been able to improve my health and reduce or eliminate most of my prescription medications. . This has driven me to want to help others find their healthier self through natural options.

ParaVida has eliminated this key food allergen from all of our meals and is a 100% Gluten free kitchen.   We only cook/bake with all natural, organic grains, flours (coconut, almond, cassava, buckwheat), spices, sauces etc. **

Dairy is another key allergen that can cause inflammation and contribute to health-related issues. ParaVida has removed all animal dairy products from our meals or juices and use almond milk, coconut water and coconut milk as bases for our smoothies. 


Sugars have powerful effects on the reward centers of the brain. Scientists have found that processed sugars are more addictive than cocaine and are a leading contributor to weight gain and some health-related issues.   Eliminating these from ones diet can result in severe withdrawl symptoms and most times require an actual detox program.

ParaVida offers a 6-week Sugar Detox program that will help you eliminate the processed sugars from your diet, fight the sugar withdrawl cravings and provide support and motivation along the way.

ParaVida uses only REAL sweeteners such as maple syrup, medjool dates, and raw honey when sweeteners are needed.

We are labeling our meals as either Paleo (no gluten, sugar, dairy, grains, corn, soy nor legumes) and WFPB (same as Paleo, but animal proteins – we do use gluten free grains and legumes and occasionally tofu). We feel that these are the most simple and most popular “diets” today.

Traditionally WFPB would be considered Vegan or Vegetarian, but these two allow for sugars and other processed foods. We want to keep our meals as “clean” as we can for health reasons and for those looking to lose weight.

Don’t label yourself....try a variety of meals from ParaVida or mix it up! If you’re not a big veggie eater, don’t be scared. You might just like Brussels Sprouts!
